This milestone book explores the extraordinary contemporary arts culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  It offers an inspiring window into the creative life of a Kingdom in transition.and shows the work of 12 pioneering artists Shadi and Raja Alem, Hala Ali , Ayman Yossri Daydban, Manal Al Dowayan, Abdulnasser Gharem, Maha Malluh, Ahmed Mater, Faisal Samra, Jowhara Al Saud, Noha Al Sharif, and Sami Al Turki.

The book is centred around the Edge of Arabia project,  whose exhibitions have brought these artists to world attention with shows in London, Venice, Berlin, Istanbul, Dubai, and most recently in January 2012 in Jeddah.
